SRSA ANNOUNCES GROUP SALES DIRECTOR AND STRATEGIC SALES DIRECTOR

Please welcome me in congratulating Lubin Ozoux as the Group Sales Director for SRSA. Michael Heins will now drive strategic sales as the Strategic Sales Director for SRSA.

Lubin will be responsible for the growth of SRSA’s existing customer base and creating new business development opportunities both domestically and in Africa. This means he will oversee the company’s international operations and domestic sales. The decision to consolidate the Domestic Sales and International Business Sales under one umbrella was made to synergise both sales forces, so we could better service you as a valuable customer.

This change will enable the different functions to have more focus on developing their core channels; to accelerate long term sales growth, and to be a valuable support structure to you our customer.

Michael will focus on the development of the Falken brand, the support of our Independent dealer network, the OE aftersales market, the key countries of Namibia, Botswana and the growing Motorcycle business.

Due to the changing tyre-manufacturing landscape in South Africa and Africa, and the pace of SRSA business, we have over the years had to change and adapt to market demands to meet the needs of our business and that of our customers. In line with this growth, our strategic requirements, operations and resources had to be repositioned to ensure that the company remains ahead in the years to come.

One of our key objectives as a business is to ensure that working with us is simple and uncomplicated – that is, it is easy to buy from SRSA and easy to sell our tyres. Our goal after all is the same – to ensure that we sell tyres, and provide an unrivalled customer service. To simplify our communication and approach to our customers, internal staff and consumers we need to ensure that we do things the right way and continue to aim to be the No. 1 tyre company in Africa. We want to be the most admired company in Africa, powered by dynamic people and world-class products.
